Chapter 10 Past Brings the Future

"Okay now we are in my house safe from prying ears since the castle has too many ears and eyes, people talk and we listen. Somethings we hold sacred and what I am about to tell you is very that, sacred."

"What do you mean?"

"Nobody knows but a few and they are sworn to secrecy by your mother. For starters your mother and I grew up together since we were in diapers. She was a vibrant child growing up always full of curiosity with  dreams for herself. Her parents, your grandparents, loved all their children and their packs children. They thought of them as their own and treated each other like that.

Your mom has eight siblings including herself, she is more of the middle child but you have uncles that are close to your age. They are your personal guards Clara, they are twins as you know Steven and Scott."

"What? Those two are my uncles? EWE they have seen me naked all these years, how gross. Who else are aunts and uncles? I am one of your aunts, Aunt Sherrie and this is your Uncle Jeff, yes Keelie is your cousin. We are your family looking after you for your mom. She is safe in another pack helping others with their abilities."

"Abilities? What about siblings? Do I have any?"

"Yes, Ashton is two years younger than you, Addison James aka AJ, is your older brother by five years and renounced his title to the thrown. You also have a sister who is sixteen her name is Abby. Addison has a mate within your mothers new pack and is now the beta of that pack. He is also head trainer for that pack and all packs."

Clara is stunned at the news of her family and that most of them are all here inside the castle or pack all for her. She does not know why she could not tell they were all family but was taught how to mask her scent so she can go unnoticed when going out. 

"Clara, you are going to start leaving very early to walk to your mothers pack and start training since your father refuses to let you train here with your cousins. It's not fair to you at all but your father is not a good man. Yes, sent away your mother when you were just a very small child but they would meet up in the woods in a  small cottage just south of here and spend time there. Until she got pregnant with you brother, Ashton, then he stopped coming around her. We really do not know why but we do know that he has been with other women that you do not know about until now."

"What? Father has been cheating on my mother this whole time? Why hasn't anybody said anything?"

"This my child you will have to ask your mother that question. She has moved on with another man but she is still legally the queen of this castle. Tomorrow morning you will be leaving at three am to the pack to train. Your mother will meet you half way and give you what you will need and tell you what is expected of you while you are there training. It will be your job to start coming to the trainings here in this pack and learning our fighting skills and then as you get stronger and better then you will incorporate your skills from both packs and become the most lethal Lycan/witch there ever was. We need you now more than ever and you must fight your father when the time comes as well as Felix. He is not alpha yet but will be long before you are queen as he is a ruthless person of all our kind, he will need to be stopped and I am very sorry but that person will be you."

"I don't understand what you are saying Aunt Sherrie, how old is this Felix and what can he do that I am the only one who can defeat him and father?"

Sherrie looks at her mate and he just looks back at her with the knowing look that they must tell but not too much about her future. They decide to keep that one under wraps for the time being until she is closer to becoming the queen once all hell starts to break loose.

"We cannot tell you this information as it is something that you will have to find out but I will warn you of this, keep your lips closed and eyes and ears open at all costs. That will help you and learn everything you can about this pack, your family and fighting. We will talk again in a few years if not sooner, you will always be safe with us here but do not let on that you know about any of us, keep asking your father about family. Play dumb okay?"

"I can do that Aunt Sherrie and thank you both for your time and information about my family. I love you both."

Clara got up very early the next morning masking her scent like her aunt had told her before she went to bed. She did not want to miss seeing her mom for the first time in years so she hurried to get ready to leave and masked her scent so the guards would not see or smell her. When she got to the forest she ran to where she was meeting her mother. She was so excited she started running faster and faster until she almost ran into someone. She looked at the figure that was all covered up and the person took ahold of her hand and pulled her along telling her to hurry they did not have much time. 

When they went through a force shield that covered her mothers entire pack she could relax as the person who took off their cloak revealed the tit was not her mom but her brother, Addison. She looked up at him not knowing what to say but she had tears of joy settling in her eyes. She looked around and saw her mother, sister and other brother and started balling then they all moved around her giving her the biggest group hug there ever was with all sobbing in happiness.

"I am so happy to finally see you all, father would never tell me anything about you guys even if you all were alive or dead. He refused to talk to me every he just yells at me. Aunt Sherrie told me everything except why you refused to become the next king Addison."

"Sis, that is not what we're are going to talk about now. What we need to get you ready for is the fight for your life against a young boy who will be alpha in a few years. He is about a year older than you are and his name is Felix. He is not a nice person at all and will kill to kill he is very ruthless, hateful and inconsiderate. I don't think even a luna would turn him around to be a good person and the only way we can get rid of him is by obtaining as many alliances as possible and killing him."

"What do I need to do to get this bad boy?"

"Train your ass off sister, and I, we, will help you with all that but you have to keep it under wraps. When you leave your castle you have to mask your scent the mask you have wears off after a short period of time correct?"

"Yes it does we have to constantly keep masking ourselves if we do not want to be discovered."

"We are going to show you how to strengthen your masking scent to keep it on you for longer periods of times, another thing you will be fitted for a uniform that is required for you to wear at all times and must be put on before entering our compound to train, and you must at all times while traveling in the woods wear a cloak. All this will be given to you in a bit when you go with our mother to the house."

Clara got everything that she needed and started training to be the best killer queen there was to bring down Felix and eventually her father.
