Waking up the next morning, Dani hummed in satisfaction as she stretched out her muscles. She had slept so well her body was tight and heavy from not moving. Her eyes flew open when she realised the room was very bright, after yesterday’s afternoon of snowfall, the sky had stayed clear overnight and the sun had made another appearance. She startled at the ceiling above her and propping up on her elbows, took a glance around the unfamiliar room. Remembering her late night excursion, Dani’s stomach clenched when she realised Will would be here too. With no phone she looked for a clock, finding one on the other bedside table.
