As Dani waited for the kettle to boil, she popped her head back around to the front room. “Did you want anything?” Will had sat down again and was fiddling with his phone. “Uh, sure, a coffee would be great.” He turned and gave her a quick smile. “Milk or sugar?” “Just milk, thanks.” Looking through the few items in the fridge, she found a cup with a bit of milk in. Will must have grabbed a few things from his parents kitchen yesterday to tide him over.
