A light blush graced Dani’s cheeks the whole ride into town. The way Will’s eyes flicked between her and the road every few minutes had her shifting in her seat, whether from embarrassment or arousal she wasn’t quite sure. The nerves squirming in her stomachs could be either but the pulsing through the bond would definitely go in the way of the latter.
Inside the restaurant, it had clearly been designed to create an intimate and romantic atmosphere. Each table was cosied up in small dark booths, with low hanging lampshades only giving off just enough light. Sat across from each other, Will was less subtle with his long looks.
“Why do you keep staring at me?” Dani whispered, fiddling with the leather-bound menu.
“You look beautiful.” He blurted, the tips of his ears turning pink.
