Dani slept like the dead that night, not stirring until gone 9o’clock the next morning. She pottered about the kitchen making coffee and toast, her body ached a little in places but wasn’t as bad as yesterday. She would definitely have to remember to do a bit more than go for a run with Will, next time bootcamp wasn’t on for a few days. Dani prayed today wouldn’t be too over the top.
She sent a quick text to Kim, asking how she was fairing that morning and to confirm that bootcamp was at 11am. Kim replied saying she was still in bed and couldn’t feel her legs yet. The cheeky little winking face staring at her from the phone left no doubt in her mind as to why. Dani’s face flushed a little, it was definitely more information than she ever needed to know.
