Dani woke to a hand lightly shaking her shoulder.
“Oh, did I fall asleep?” She yawned, rubbing her blurry eyes. The room was dimly lit by a lamp on the shelves behind them, out the window the sky had fallen to a murky blue. She leapt up off the sofa. “What time is it?”
“It’s 5:45,” Will answered, getting up as well, now that Dani had moved. He placed a hand on the small of her back as he passed, leaning down to smell her hair and lightly kiss the top of her head. “I’m just going to go change.”
