Dani woke up late the next morning but was in no rush to go anywhere. She stretched and sighed, all snuggled up warm under the duvet. Her mind drifted back to the previous evening and a giddy smile fell across her face.
They had laid contently on the mountain ledge for a while. Neither of them spoke but they had gotten much more comfortable in each other’s presence, so it hadn’t been awkward. When they got back to the house, just as she was about to walk up the staircase, Will had grabbed her arm, spun her around and pulled her against him. He didn’t hesitate pressing his mouth firmly on hers for a goodnight kiss. His arm wrapped around her waist, holding her body tightly as his lips moulded around hers.
