SPIES ‎ ‎Chapter 1: The Last Mission ‎ ‎The rain poured heavily over the streets of London as flashing police lights reflected off the wet roads. Sirens echoed through the city while terrified civilians ran for safety. Hidden beneath the famous landmarks of London was a secret underground laboratory that housed one of the world's most dangerous inventions—a mysterious silver key known only as The Dominion Key. ‎ ‎According to top-secret intelligence, whoever possessed the key could gain access to powerful military systems, financial networks, satellites, and classified databases around the world. In the wrong hands, it could throw nations into chaos. ‎ ‎Only two agents were trusted with protecting it. ‎ ‎John and Mary. ‎ ‎Known among intelligence agencies as "Ghost" and "Shadow," they were two of the greatest spies the world had ever seen. They had completed impossible missions across dozens of countries without ever being captured. Together, they had become legends. ‎ ‎That night, however, would be their final mission. ‎ ‎"John," Mary whispered into her communication earpiece, "three armed men are approaching from the east corridor." ‎ ‎"I see them," John replied calmly as he loaded fresh ammunition into his silenced pistol. "I'll take the left. You take the right." ‎ ‎Mary smiled confidently. ‎ ‎"Just like old times." ‎ ‎Within seconds they sprang into action. ‎ ‎John slid across the polished floor, knocking one attacker to the ground before disarming him with a swift kick. Mary leaped over a security barrier, landing behind another enemy and taking him down before he could even raise his weapon. ‎ ‎The remaining gang members opened fire. ‎ ‎Bullets shattered windows and ricocheted off the metal walls. ‎ ‎John threw a smoke grenade. ‎ ‎The hallway disappeared beneath a thick cloud of gray smoke. ‎ ‎One by one, the enemies fell. ‎ ‎Their leader finally appeared from the shadows. ‎ ‎He wore a long black coat and a silver mask that covered half of his face. ‎ ‎"You are too late," the man said coldly. "The key belongs to us." ‎ ‎John raised his pistol. ‎ ‎"Not today." ‎ ‎The masked leader smiled before pulling out two curved knives. ‎ ‎The fight that followed was unlike anything the laboratory had ever witnessed. ‎ ‎Knives clashed. ‎ ‎Glass shattered. ‎ ‎Tables overturned. ‎ ‎Mary spun through the air, kicking two enemies into a control panel while John fought the masked leader hand-to-hand. Every punch and kick shook the room. ‎ ‎Finally, Mary reached the security vault. ‎ ‎She inserted her clearance card. ‎ ‎The thick steel door slowly opened. ‎ ‎Inside, resting on a velvet cushion beneath bright white lights, lay the Dominion Key. ‎ ‎Mary carefully picked it up. ‎ ‎"We've got it!" she shouted. ‎ ‎The gang immediately retreated. ‎ ‎Their leader pointed at the couple. ‎ ‎"This isn't over. One day we'll return...and when we do, your family will pay the price." ‎ ‎Before anyone could stop him, he disappeared into the darkness with the few survivors who remained. ‎ ‎Several minutes later, government helicopters landed outside the laboratory. ‎ ‎The Director of Intelligence stepped forward. ‎ ‎"You've done it again," he said proudly. ‎ ‎John handed over the key. ‎ ‎"It belongs with the government." ‎ ‎The director nodded. ‎ ‎"Thank you...both of you." ‎ ‎As everyone celebrated, Mary quietly pulled John aside. ‎ ‎"I need to tell you something." ‎ ‎John noticed the nervous look on her face. ‎ ‎"What is it?" ‎ ‎Mary smiled warmly. ‎ ‎"We're going to have another baby." ‎ ‎For a moment, the sounds of helicopters, sirens, and cheering faded away. ‎ ‎John hugged her tightly. ‎ ‎"Really?" ‎ ‎She nodded happily. ‎ ‎"Yes." ‎ ‎John looked up at the night sky. ‎ ‎"Then this truly is our last mission." ‎ ‎A week later, the couple officially resigned from active service. Their decision shocked intelligence agencies around the world, but no one tried to stop them. They had already given everything. ‎ ‎Their dream was simple. ‎ ‎To leave behind the dangerous life of spies and raise their children in peace. ‎ ‎The government arranged a private aircraft to fly them safely to America, where they would begin a new life. ‎ ‎As the plane crossed the Atlantic Ocean, Mary rested beside the window while John reviewed their travel documents. ‎ ‎Everything seemed peaceful. ‎ ‎Until the cockpit alarm suddenly sounded. ‎ ‎Red emergency lights flashed throughout the cabin. ‎ ‎The pilot's frightened voice echoed through the aircraft. ‎ ‎"Warning! Unknown aircraft approaching!" ‎ ‎John immediately stood up. ‎ ‎Mary looked at him. ‎ ‎"No..." ‎ ‎He slowly reached into his travel bag. ‎ ‎Hidden beneath the clothes was a locked metal case. ‎ ‎Inside were the only weapons they had decided to keep. ‎ ‎John looked at Mary. ‎ ‎"I guess retirement will have to wait a little longer." ‎ ‎Outside the aircraft, several black helicopters surrounded the plane. ‎ ‎The same gang had found them. ‎ ‎And their leader wanted revenge. ‎ ‎To be continued... ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎SPIES ‎ ‎Chapter 2: Escape from the Sky (Part 1) ‎ ‎Red warning lights flashed throughout the aircraft as the emergency alarm echoed through every cabin. ‎ ‎"Warning! Warning! Unknown aircraft approaching!" ‎ ‎John immediately opened the metal case beneath his seat. Inside were two custom pistols, spare magazines, a combat knife, and a small black device. ‎ ‎Mary looked at him and sighed. ‎ ‎"So much for retirement." ‎ ‎John smiled. ‎ ‎"I was hoping we'd never have to use these again." ‎ ‎He handed her one of the pistols. ‎ ‎"You still remember how to shoot?" ‎ ‎Mary rolled her eyes. ‎ ‎"I haven't forgotten in one week." ‎ ‎Before either of them could laugh, the airplane shook violently. ‎ ‎BOOM! ‎ ‎A rocket exploded just outside the left wing. The passengers screamed as oxygen masks dropped from the ceiling. ‎ ‎The pilot's voice came over the speakers. ‎ ‎"We're under attack! Everyone remain calm!" ‎ ‎John looked through the window. ‎ ‎Three black helicopters surrounded the plane. ‎ ‎"They found us." ‎ ‎Mary's face became serious. ‎ ‎"The masked leader..." ‎ ‎Just then, a loud metallic crash came from the rear of the aircraft. ‎ ‎Several armed men wearing black tactical gear blasted open the cargo door and climbed inside using heavy cables attached to the helicopters. ‎ ‎One of them shouted, ‎ ‎"Find the key! Kill anyone who stands in your way!" ‎ ‎John stepped into the aisle. ‎ ‎"If they want a fight," he said quietly, "they've come to the right people." ‎ ‎The first gunman fired. ‎ ‎John ducked behind a seat as bullets tore through the cabin. ‎ ‎Mary kicked another attacker into the luggage compartment before striking him across the face with the butt of her pistol. ‎ ‎Two more enemies rushed toward her. ‎ ‎She grabbed a serving cart and shoved it down the aisle. It slammed into the attackers, throwing them to the floor. ‎ ‎John moved like lightning. ‎ ‎He disarmed one enemy, punched another, then fired two accurate shots into the cabin ceiling near a fuel pipe. Steam burst out, covering the area in thick white vapor. ‎ ‎"Move!" John shouted. ‎ ‎The couple fought side by side exactly as they had during countless missions years before. ‎ ‎Meanwhile, the masked leader climbed aboard through the damaged cargo entrance. ‎ ‎He slowly applauded. ‎ ‎"I knew retirement wouldn't suit you." ‎ ‎John stared at him. ‎ ‎"You never learn." ‎ ‎The leader laughed. ‎ ‎"I've waited twenty years for this moment." ‎ ‎"You've waited one week," Mary corrected. ‎ ‎The masked man smiled beneath his silver mask. ‎ ‎"It feels like twenty years." ‎ ‎Without warning he threw two knives. ‎ ‎John dodged the first. ‎ ‎Mary caught the second with incredible speed before throwing it back. ‎ ‎The knife sliced across the leader's shoulder. ‎ ‎He stepped backward, surprised. ‎ ‎"So...you're still as dangerous as ever." ‎ ‎The fight became even more brutal. ‎ ‎Passengers hid beneath their seats while bullets shattered windows. ‎ ‎The aircraft shook violently. ‎ ‎The pilot shouted through the intercom, ‎ ‎"We're losing altitude!" ‎ ‎John looked toward the cockpit. ‎ ‎"If this plane goes down, everyone dies." ‎ ‎Mary nodded. ‎ ‎"I'll protect the passengers." ‎ ‎John sprinted toward the cockpit entrance, fighting every enemy that stood in his way. ‎ ‎Inside, one of the gang members had already taken control of the aircraft. ‎ ‎John tackled him before he could redirect the plane into the ocean. ‎ ‎The controls spun wildly. ‎ ‎Warning alarms screamed. ‎ ‎Outside, another helicopter moved into position. ‎ ‎A gunner aimed directly at the engines. ‎ ‎John grabbed the emergency radio. ‎ ‎"Mayday! This is Flight Seven-Two-One! We are under attack!" ‎ ‎Static answered him. ‎ ‎Communication had been jammed. ‎ ‎Back in the cabin, Mary fought three enemies at once. ‎ ‎One attacker grabbed her wrist. ‎ ‎She twisted free, flipped him over her shoulder, and knocked another unconscious with a spinning kick. ‎ ‎The remaining gunman raised his rifle. ‎ ‎Before he could fire— ‎ ‎BANG! ‎ ‎John appeared behind him. ‎ ‎The man collapsed. ‎ ‎Mary smiled. ‎ ‎"You always show up at the perfect time." ‎ ‎"I had a good teacher." ‎ ‎Suddenly the aircraft shook harder than ever before. ‎ ‎Warning lights turned bright red. ‎ ‎The right engine burst into flames. ‎ ‎The pilot yelled, ‎ ‎"We have less than three minutes before the plane explodes!" ‎ ‎John knew exactly what had to be done. ‎ ‎He opened an emergency compartment hidden beneath the cockpit floor. ‎ ‎Inside was a military demolition charge designed to destroy classified equipment if an aircraft was about to be captured. ‎ ‎Mary immediately understood his plan. ‎ ‎"You can't be serious." ‎ ‎"If they capture this plane, they'll hunt us forever." ‎ ‎She looked into his eyes. ‎ ‎"And if we stay?" ‎ ‎"We die." ‎ ‎For a brief moment neither of them spoke. ‎ ‎Then Mary quietly nodded. ‎ ‎"I trust you." ‎ ‎John armed the demolition device. ‎ ‎The digital timer began counting down. ‎ ‎02:59... ‎ ‎The masked leader suddenly realized what John had done. ‎ ‎"Stop him!" ‎ ‎Every remaining gang member charged forward. ‎ ‎John and Mary fought through the narrow aisle as the timer continued to count down. ‎ ‎Passengers escaped through emergency exits while flight attendants deployed parachutes. ‎ ‎The flames spread across the aircraft. ‎ ‎The countdown reached one minute. ‎ ‎John grabbed two parachutes. ‎ ‎He handed one to Mary. ‎ ‎"Ready?" ‎ ‎She smiled. ‎ ‎"Always." ‎ ‎They ran toward the emergency exit. ‎ ‎The cabin door burst open. ‎ ‎Freezing wind rushed inside. ‎ ‎Below them stretched nothing but the dark Atlantic Ocean. ‎ ‎Behind them, the timer reached its final seconds. ‎ ‎Five... ‎ ‎The masked leader sprinted toward them. ‎ ‎Four... ‎ ‎John fired one last shot, forcing the leader to dive for cover. ‎ ‎Three... ‎ ‎Mary grabbed John's hand. ‎ ‎Two... ‎ ‎Together they jumped into the night sky. ‎ ‎The aircraft disappeared above them. ‎ ‎One... ‎ ‎BOOOOOOM! ‎ ‎A massive fireball lit up the darkness as the plane exploded into thousands of burning pieces. ‎ ‎The shockwave pushed John and Mary through the air. ‎ ‎For a terrifying moment they spun uncontrollably before pulling their parachute cords. ‎ ‎Two white parachutes opened. ‎ ‎Far above them, burning debris rained into the ocean. ‎ ‎The world believed that Agents John and Mary had died in the explosion. ‎ ‎Exactly as they intended. ‎ ‎Little did anyone know... ‎ ‎Their greatest mission had only just begun. ‎ ‎ ‎
