Chapter Four: FeedingOliver feels a little bad raising his voice at the kitten, but the sooner she learns her place, the easier it would be for her to settle into her new role. Camden, who's always been the bleeding heart between the two, caves an hour after locking her in. "Should we go make sure she's alright?" he asks. "She's probably frightened. It's all new to her and no one's had a chance to talk to her about what's happening yet. She's probably just really confused." Oliver shakes his head but he feels his own resolve weakening. Camden is right. He says, "She needs to learn to behave." But he is standing up alongside Camden. "Not this way," Camden says, mind made up already. "I'm going to go check on her."
