The Plans

Ace's POV

"Ugh what was I thinking, letting someone from the twilight pack come tour the pack to find their mate.  Ugh there is just so much work that comes with planning their stay. " I exclaim to my office. I'm currently trying to work out the twilight pack members' stay. 

" Well brother you could've just said no," says Liberty appearing out of thin air causing me to nearly fall out of my chair. 

"No, I couldn't have. In case you don't remember, I went onto their lands looking for Nichole when I found out that her mother had belonged to that pack before she met her mate," I explain with a sign.  After Nichole had left, I had realized that I had made an mistake so I went to look at her family's history. I had found out that her mom was originally from the twilight pack and that her dad was the brother to the alpha king. I knew that I wouldn't get clearance to go onto the Twilight pack's land so I tried to sneak onto the land to find her. The key word there is tried, I was found within minutes. I had asked for clearance to go onto the Alpha King's land but got a no almost immediately. I also got a threat on my life if I ever stepped foot onto the land which is weird but he might have beef with my father, a lot of Alphas do. 

"Oh yeah. I forgot about that. So when are the twilight pack members arriving?" Liberty asks as she sits down on one of the chairs in front of my desk.

"They arrive next week. They are sending two members. One is Ashley Smith, she's the top warrior's daughter. The other one is the top warrior, his name is Nick Smith. Apparently, he is refusing to allow her to come over here without him. Now that you know, can you shoo so that can actually finish the plan for their stay? Thanks," I say waving my hands in a shoo motion towards her. 

"Ok, but remember you're having dinner with my mate and I."

"Shoot, that is tonight isn't it?"

"Yeah and you better be there you have been cancelling this dinner for months and Ellie is getting mad."

"I'm not going to cancel but I can't stay for that long, I need to get these plans done so that I can send them to the twilight pack and get their alpha to approve of them before their members come." 

"Ok, I'll let Ellie know," she says as she leaves me in my office to work on the plans more before I go to dinner.

*later*

"Ok, now to send this off to the twilight pack." I tell myself as I finish up the plans for the two members and email it to the Alpha.   

"Now, you need to get to bed. Well stop talking to yourself first then get to bed," I say still talking to myself. I walk out of my office and down the hall to my room. The room has started to feel emptier than ever now that I know that I will never have a mate to occupy the room with me. I could go to tell you that I have been unfaithful to my mate but I know that even though I was the one to reject her I would never do that to her. Just in case she ever comes out of where ever she is hiding to take me as her mate. I just have to wait until Liberty and Ellie have a pup, then I can had the title to Liberty. I can't yet because she is a lesbian and traditionally lesbians don't become Alpha because they are unable to reproduce and they would be the last Alpha from their bloodline. Typically people try to avoid that. But I don't know how much longer I can rule this pack without my mate by my side. I cannot force Nichole to be by my side and rule this pack with me. After all that this pack and I has put her through I don't want her to have to go through it again but as their Luna. I can't do that to her. I hope that where ever she is at she is happy.
