9 Joanna thanked God that she didn’t flush easily, because after she’d explained her predicament to her cousin Jeremy, he leaned back in his office chair and shot her a sly grin. “You and Randall Lenz? Seriously?” “If you’re going to get all judge-y, I can leave,” she snapped. He raised his hands. “No judgment,” he said, his tone casual. “I mean, I don’t know what Jake and Addie are going to think about all this, but that’s between you and them.” “So, are you going to help me?” “Of course,” Jeremy replied, turning back to his computer. “It’ll give me something new to do.
