Ride
“MOMMY, why is Daddy still sleeping?” I signaled my son using my finger to stay quiet and I smiled when he complied.
“Just kiss Daddy then we’ll go. Later when I finish my work, we’ll go to the mall with Daddy. Don’t wake him up,” I whispered to him.
He slowly approached Pisces, who was sound asleep. After kissing Pisces on the cheek, I picked up my son to leave, but he shook his head.
“What?”
“Where’s Daddy’s kiss from you?”
I sighed at my son's words and quickly planted a kiss on Pisces's cheek. Only then did my son seem satisfied and join me as we left the room.
“Is Daddy sick?” he asked as we got into my car. I decided to drive today because Pisces's driver was off, and I didn't want to bother Johnson to chauffeur us.
I adjusted his seatbelt and shook my head.
