CHAPTER FOUR

"Hades"

"Sister" he called jumping on me, I caught him and adjusted him well in my arms,

"I missed you"

"Well I can't say th same"

"You are rude"

"Get off me Hades, you are a grown man, you can't just jump on a lady and expect her to carry you"

"But you are not just any lady you are future wife"he said making me remember how often he said that when we were kids,

"Sis look at me am no longer a little red demon with horns, I can finally marry you" he said smiling widely my heart ached,

"Will you get off me so I can see you properly " he immediately jumped down and stood at arms length,

"You look handsome " I complimented,

"Worthy of standing beside you and call you wife" he probed,

"Shut up Hades" I laughed,

"i have to go now, I will visit some other time, don't miss me too much"i said waving at him and disappeared into the portal,i could see his little sad smile

" My little cutie " i mumbled,

On arriving back at the human world, I met chaos, every single part of the street within eye sight was raging with fire, buildings destroyed, in the middle of it all stood Sadie , half monstrous ,half broken,

I shook my head and snapped back to reality, another vision that shouldn't be fulfilled,

Deep inside the dark alley,bright green eyes stared,not in recognition but that of calculation, as if waiting for the right time to strike,

WRITER POV

It was already midnight when it began raining, followed by thunder, Sadie sat in the middle of her bed, legs crossed, by the window, shadow mist coiled threatening to sip in any moment,

Furniture flew twirling in circles round the room, when she opened her eyes it beamed red before a flash of white and back to blue, everything dropped down creating a mess, that might take hours to fix,

"The time is near" she mumbled, before laying down and draping her sheets over herself,

DARCY

I smiled as I secured the couple rings and had gotten for me and Sadie, today I will make her mine at all cost,

"You know she isn't someone you own right" Asher asked and I nodded, they is no gain without risk,

"We are summoned to the sky court" Cole announced as he entered,

Within few minutes we were all gathered, listening to trumpets as mother Isis ascends her throne,

I wasn't even listening to what was being said because right now i could be certified nervous,

When we were asked to all retreat,I immediately rushed out not wanting to waste another minute in a boring meet,

I fidgeted with the ring box a little, before bumping into someone, the rings fell onto the clouds, I bent to pick it up and slowly looked at the lady I had bumped into, to apologize,

MERLINDA

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and am not someone to slack behind,I can't miss my chance, I snatched the rings from his hands and slide it into my finger,

"You didn't have to go through all that stress kneeling Darcy" I purred admiring the rings and also partly enjoying his expressions,

He stood up and opened his mouth to say something but I rushed into his arms hugging him tight,

"Thanks, they are soo pretty and you have good taste, I love this, am never gonna part with it, you should also wear yours" I smiled looking at him with expectant eyes but he made no move and I ......

"U don't..." I knew what he wanted to say but I pushed the words right back in by putting the ring in his finger my self,

"See cute" I kissed my ring and walked away,

DARCY

I stared at the ring in shock, was this suppose to happen, I walked to the cloud entrance and dumped the ring outside the gate letting it fall to the earth before I also descended,

CHLOE

A witches charm powerful enough to fool even a degel is not one to be toyed with,I got lucky to get my hands on this, I held the black mixture in my hand as it evolved green smoke,

I carefully set it down and picked the other flask of the same texture, twirled it around a little and the same green smoke came out, I inhaled it and slowly my glowing white skin faded into pale white, fangs hanging out the corner of my lips, eyes blood red,

I stared at my reflection in the mirror and smiled wearily,

"Hello there pretty" I stretched my hand and a crown and staff flew towards it,I caught it, "Long time no see princess Vamperina"

ASMODEUS

I turned around and saw mother sitting on my couch like it was her royal throne, I stared at her with cold fiery eyes,

"Am doing great little hot ball" she said without being asked, her eyes filled with greed, the greed that never left her eyes for once,

"I don't care how you are"

"And I didn't bother waiting for you to ask dear son" Lilith said,

"Why are you here"

"Don't play dumb with me son, your half sister is she dead yet"

"No, I haven't even found her"

"That b***h Isis did a great job having a fling with that devil and hiding it's produce, well well I gotta give her credits"

"Why are you so worked up over a girl who was probably raised in royalty and spoiled rotten"

"Don't you see it dumb i***t,I can't believe I raised a child like you, you are older than her yet she's the heir, that's because she's powerful, having two clashing blood's running in her"

"And you want me to kill her, mother do you want my head" I asked exaggerating wonder,

"Stupid son of mine" she sighed and stood up, " the time of ascension is near and I will have your head for real if you are not the one sitting on the throne" she disappears into the raging portal,

I couldn't tell her the half sister she wants dead is my mate, it's gonna be more easier to ruin her by just rejecting the mate bond but am not killing her twice, I did it in the past life to please mother but not in this life

"Nephalem (Sadie) I will protect you with my life this time around" I turned my back coldly and walked upstairs,

I rushed into the room panicking, I swear he'd round for my sister but couldn't find her, when I returned to the sitting room, I saw her casually using her phone, I just rushed passed her screaming and she just sat like am not even important,

"Sis" I yelled

"I was searching for you call your name and you just sat here ignoring me"

"Hit the nail Ayla"

"Which nail" I asked and she glared at me,

"okay fairy godmother request our presence, the fairy land is under attack "

"What" she sprang up immediately running out while I fell on the ground laughing out my guts, then she slowly turned to me giving me the strangling look,
