Back in the Stormclaw Pack, Alpha Cedric was deeply disappointed by how his son had been treated by Alpha Magnus—especially after Daniel assured him that he had done nothing to deserve such cruelty.
Daniel had recounted, in painful detail, how Magnus had beaten him and locked him in the dungeon for days. Hearing this, Cedric felt a surge of anger. Magnus may have been the Alpha King, but that did not give him the right to treat his subjects with such disregard for their dignity.
