Throughout our journey back home, Magnus couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right. He could sense that Alpha Enzo was up to something, but he hadn’t figured out what yet.
"Do you think he still has his eyes on your position?" I asked Magnus.
My question made him glance at me for a moment before he turned his gaze back to the passing scenery outside the car.
"Enzo is a very ambitious man who will do whatever it takes to get what he wants. I'm not ignorant of the fact that he desires my position, but, what I have yet to figure out is how he plans to take it," he said.
"I still think we need to visit the Stormclaw Pack," I said.
