The principal was shouting hysterical, and the other kids shut up. “Great now mom is going to get worried.” “Shut up Zeus, this is all your fault!” “Mine? Why? You are the one who punches a kid!” “But I wouldn’t have done it if you hadn’t told me he was not human!” The principal made us sit in chairs out of his office meanwhile he made the calls.
-I hope mom doesn’t freak out…
My voice left me in a low whisper.
-At least someone will come for you.
I was surprised he could hear me.
-Why are you saying that?
-My dad is too busy to bother coming for me. In a few seconds, the principal will say that my dad will not be able to make it, but that he is taking me home and he will personally speak to him.
