VIVIAN'S POV
"Mommy...isn't that dad over there?" Matt utters with excitement while pointing a finger at the crowd in front of us. My eyes widen and my heart jumps inside my chest upon hearing Matt's words. David! Could it be really him? I ask myself as I follow Matt's finger through the crowd. We are by the outlet market which is the busiest and most crowded area in our neighbourhood. Matt wanted to buy grilled corn that is being sold at the market, so we decided to walk there.
After spotting David among the crowd, I grab Matt's hand so that we don't lose each other through the crowd. "David!!" I yell at the top of my lungs while pushing my way through the crowd to get to him but he keeps walking away and not stopping.
