After glancing at the wall clock I realize that there isn’t much time left before Matt comes back home from school hence we only have about five hours left to do what we do and get back home. I increase my pace and leave the trays in the oven before dashing upstairs to take a shower. Half an hour late I dress up in my usual boring clothes and I climb down to find my mother and let her know I’m ready to go. She is relaxing in the living room watching reality TV with a glass of wine in her hands. She almost chokes on her wine after glancing at me and observing what I’m wearing, “you are kidding right?” she says with her eyes widening. I look down at my clothes and glance up at her, “what? We are going to Aria’s house, there is no special occasion to glamour up for,” I smirk.
