A new day is finally born after a very long day. If only a new day meant everything new and out with the old but the problems of yesterday follow you all the way to the new days. My mother instantly disapproved of Aria the minute she laid her eyes on her but I didn't expect otherwise so I was not surprised at all. Even though she couldn't hide her disapproval of Aria she was still kind enough to offer her a hot cup of tea and left over cupcakes baked by yours truly.
While my parents talked downstairs, I showed Aria to my room and I noted the envious expression on her. I have always thought we are very poor and it never crossed my mind that there are families who are way poor than my family. The state of Aria's house made me look at things in a different way.
