The afternoon sun burns and scorches my back mercilessly. Today is not my day, after getting lost and walking for ages until I found the right house only to be scorched by the sun while knocking and waiting for Aria to answer the door. She has to be home because we agreed on what time I should come. She can't be cruel enough to let me come all the way here for nothing. I'm at unease as I dart my eyes around the god forsaken neighbourhood, feeling the curious stares of passers by. My eyes flicker back towards the door as if staring hard at it would magically cause it to swing open. I lean forward and listen in, I hear foot steps, it sounds like someone hastily running around.
