My heart fell to my mouth at the mention of Damian mentioning Junior's father. He didn't meet with Mr. Edmond did he? Or could Mr. Edmond have seen us together somehow? My mind thought of the possibilities of Damian probably finding out about Ethan through is father without actually knowing the full story behind it. Especially after I had lied to him that Junior's father had died a long time ago.
"How—How do you mean, Damian?" I unwrapped his arms from my waist, moving a distant away from him.
My gesture definitely passed a message across and Damian's face enshrouded a solemn."Listen, Freya. I know you don't want to talk about him. But it's been years since his death and you have barely gotten over him. I can tell."
