Chapter 7
Reappearing in the city in East American, Garro stopped to take in the scene of this once prosperous, joyous and wonderful city. That once had carnivals, celebrations, and gardens that travelled for miles.
Nonetheless, none of that was left. For now, only the black burning chunks of the buildings, stalls, and people remained.
The air was heavy of the smell of burning flesh as well as burning toxics. No human could survive here for long.
Thankfully, Garro had his Magi armour and his advanced biology.
In the distance, you could hear screams of dying human and the sound of buildings collapsing as the Order waged their war here.
“Garro, I’m scanning the area, but this smoke, as well as war, is making it hard to get readings,”
“I’ll walk on and try to find a cleaner place,”
