Chapter Fifteen: Edd's POV

The walk to Kevin's house is quiet and tense. I can see that Kevin is not ready to go home just yet. What would have been a two minute walk turns into a five minute walk because Kevin is walking extremely slow. Despite the extra time it takes I do not try to get Kevin to walk faster.

"Hey Double D. Can we not go in yet? I wanna try something before you leave." I stop and stand next to Kevin. I do not know or understand what it is Kevin wants to try. I, however, wait patiently for him to do it. We stand there staring at each other for exactly one minute and ten seconds.

"Kevin, I really must be going..." Kevin leans in and kisses me! I am shocked to the point that I can do nothing at first. However, after a few seconds, I eventually kiss Kevin back. I am surprised at not only my but Kevin's actions.

"I've been trying to do that all night." Kevin bites my lip softly and kisses my nose. That is really unsanitary but I do not say so because it made me feel special. He's been trying to kiss me all night?

"Good night Kevin. I shall see you tomorrow." I do not know what to say to what just happened and what Kevin said so I just wave and walk across the street to my house. Once in my room I immediately write down in my journal the events of my day as to not to forget them. Ever.
