Putting his finger on Kevin's lips, Double D takes his turn to talk. "Kevin, of course I forgive you. And as for you calling me that, I am still hurting over it. However, after all you've been through after that I can not stay mad at you for it. You took, um, a beating from your dad to keep him from hurting me and for that I will forever be grateful to you. I love you as well Kevin Barr and from this day on I will always see you as my angel." Double D leans in and plants a soft kiss on Kevin's forehead before continuing. "You do not need to prove anything to me my angel. Please rest. You have a MRI scan in a few hours." Double D walks out the room and starts to close the door. He stops and turns to look at Kevin.
"Don't worry about anything Kevin. I will protect you." Kevin chuckles softl
