Gray went to take a quick shower, and I sat in bed, eating slowly, my eyes glued to the TV. I wasn't quite sure what was happening, but it was the only distraction while Gray was away, so I had to make do with it.
I had the painkillers after eating a slice of pizza and then let it subside the pain before I could start eating again. I was also waiting for Gray, hoping he would eat with me since the dinner he had intended on having at first is now on timeout.
It still made me a little embarrassed, but at least... he was taking it so well.
"Having fun?" Gray said, peeking into where I was.
"No. I miss you."
He broke into a laugh, then walked into the closet, letting me grumble about his absence. He soon returned, grabbing the bag he had come in with before he came back to me.
