I collapsed onto my bed, physically and mentally drained after my day at the hospital. My mind flickered back to the conversation I had partially participated in with Miss Clark. The truth is that I struggled to pay attention to what she was saying, it all seemed so far off and outlandish that it could only exist in a fairy tale or some form of mythology – not in real life.
