DESMOND "I- I don't know how to drive." She stuttered. "Seriously?" I asked in an amused tone. "That's a bummer. I guess I'm driving then." She tossed the keys back. "You know, you should take driving lessons." I quoted as we began our journey. "I'm not planning to for now." She responded. I glanced at her briefly before returning my gaze upfront. "Why?" I asked. "Let's just say, owning a car isn't in my plans yet. Not for a long time." She responded. "Looks like you've already had your life laid out already." I remarked. "I wouldn't say that." She sighed, I hummed. "Some things came up. I guess life doesn't really go according to your plan." "Yeah." I said. "So where would you be assuming things went according to plan?" I asked, sparing her another brief glance again.
