DESMOND I exhaled deeply as I closed another book. None of them seemed to interest me no matter how hard I tried to concentrate. I had to admit it, I was a little bothered and envious. Everyone had departed, busy enjoying themselves. But here I was, staying secluded. I should have just listened to Maya but I just went ahead to make a stupid decision. Perhaps I had been envious of the way they bonded, talked freely with each other. Either way, I regretted saying No. I looked around the room, contemplating on having a drink or two. As I proceeded to the small bar in the parlour, I heard funny sounds emanating outside. I frowned and then briskly headed out. My eyes widened immediately and my jaw dropped once I stepped outside. There they were, Maya and Jason dancing and giggling like idiot
