DESMOND "This wasn't supposed to happen." I chuckled in a nervous manner. She inched closer to me, curling her arms around my waist, while her eyes looked up to mine. "So let me guess, you wanted to be that adorable boyfriend who greets his girlfriend with breakfast." She said and I nodded like a child. "Well, I decided to give it a try and I think I've failed." She looked around. "No. Not at all." She chuckled. "It's adorable. At least you didn't turn the kitchen into a mess this time." My heart pounded as if it wanted to break away from my rib cage. And on impulse, My arms curled around her waist. "Really?" She hummed in response. "Although I hope they taste as good as they look." I gulped down my saliva, I hadn't even thought of tasting them too. "I hope so too."
