DESMOND "Two weeks?" I mumbled like a person struck by lightning.   "Yes. Mr. Desmond." The doctor affirmed. I immediately felt gazes boring holes into me.  "Can I see her now?" I asked.  "She's asleep, I don't want you disturbing her." He explained but I smiled.  "Trust me, I won't." I responded and he heaved a light sigh while he nodded.  "Thank you very much." I nodded slightly before the doctor walked out of us. Every part of me wanted to walk inside her room but the probing eyes on me needed some explanation.  "Two weeks?"
