I stared straight at the sun but thanks to my sunglasses, the rays weren't overbearing for my eyes. I was on a red floaty in the swimming pool, wearing a matching bikini. My body relaxed at the sun's gentle beam gracing every inch of my body. I enjoyed the chilling feeling that rocked my body from the waters that surrounded me. One would think I had peace of mind but the ugly truth was that I was lost in my world of thoughts.
Two days had passed after we visited the Astrologer and so far so good, things were going smoothly. Although, I noticed Desmond was occasionally withdrawn. But that wasn't what bothered me. Rather, I was terrified of the astrologer's words. If I hadn't been so stubborn about the whole thing, Desmond and I would have definitely not heard that bombshell.
