“I guess this is it.” Ana mumbled, looking around my already emptied room. She made no mistake of staring straight into my eyes but I knew better, she was holding back her tears. I heaved a deep sigh and then I hugged her out of the blue. The silence between us was enough to make me hear her deep breaths.
“I’m going to miss you a lot Ana.” I whispered enough for her to hear.
“Well I’m not going to miss seeing your lazy ass.” She replied and I hugged her tighter.
“You don’t have to hide the tears.” I said and I felt her arms curl around me tighter.
“I’ll miss you.” She cried and it made my heart skip a bit. This time I didn’t fight them, I just let the tears flow. “So much Maya.” She added. We remained glued to each other and after a while we finally separated.
