"Good Morning, Mr. Desmond." The receptionist greeted me and I flashed her a tiny smile.
"I didn't expect you to be back so soon." She chirped and I just raised my eyebrows slightly in response.
"I hope everything has been going well?" I asked and she smiled with a slight nod.
"Of course Sir."
I nodded, I was about to leave the reception when she spoke again.
"Two days ago, Mr. John, your father came by." She added and I stopped midway.
"What?" I asked with a sharp frown. "For what exactly?"
"He asked about you and when I told him you weren't around, he met Miss Maya instead." She answered eloquently but my frown deepened.
"Is there a problem Sir?" She asked.
