As I threaded along the hallway of my father’s mansion, my legs suddenly stopped. I glanced to my right, staring at the white door. It was the only one that had this color of all rooms on this hallway. And above all, this used to be my room. I kept staring at it for a while and then I inhaled deeply. I held the door knob with my hand that slightly trembled. My heart skipped a bit in that split moment. There was this feeling of anxiety that lingered, it was minute but it was still powerful enough to take a stride in me. Regardless, I took the bold step turning the door knob.
