"Well I guess it's Home sweet home." I exhaled before my apartment door. As I sauntered in, I was welcomed with nothing but solemn silence.
I wore a brief smile after looking around. After unpacking and a long warm bath I crashed to my bed. I held my phone, swiping through photos and videos I had taken together with my colleagues. I chuckled watching each of them. And my smile slowly faded as I swiped to the next one. This one contained Mr. Desmond and I. One we had taken at the Seine river. I kept staring at his handsome smile, free of worries. And on impulse, I relived that night again. It was a moment that I wasn't going to forget. I trailed my finger gently on the screen, unable to stop staring in admiration. But my fun was short lived, someone hit the doorbell.
