"Maya!" Jason blared excitedly, leaving his chair to give me a hug.
"What are you doing here?" I asked with a tiny smile gracing my face, still in our embrace.
"I--" He was about to say but Mr. Desmond cut him off when he cleared his throat. We separated immediately, only then did I realize my boss was watching.
"I'm so sorry, Mr. Desmond. It's just been a while since we've seen each other and I just got excited." He explained while he returned to his seat opposite Mr. Desmond's Desk.
"You could have done that outside work hours, you know." Mr. Desmond quoted back.
