THIRD POV Inside the chamber somebody opened their eyes slowly, when a sharp pain pierced his head. He groaned a little bit from the pain as he was fully awake. He tried to move his body as he struggled to sit, but found that his arms was to bound to his body. At first he thought those bastards must have caught him and and taken him as a hostage, but no stupid person would use blankets instead of ropes, that was a reason which convinced him, but he didn't know where he was at the moment. He looked at his surroundings and back to his arm, it wasn't bandaged good but it did lessen his bleeding, and the wounds had some herbs on them which made them heal. He wanted to thank whoever saved his ass, but he didn't know who, as no one was present in the chamber besides himself. Then he heard someone playing Guzheng, the piece was very peaceful and pleasing to the ears. His body moved from the bed, and opened the door. His vision landed on a figure under the big peach blossom tree he had collapsed under. The figure was lean and not short nor tall. His white hair didn't have any accecories and the thick robe which protected him from the cold breeze. The figure sat elegantly as it played the piece peacefully. He closed his eyes and only focused on the tones which were filling the courtyard with calmness. "At my residence,...found you collapsed under the tree" said Xia'er. It was silent after that...neither of them said anything until Shi came with tea and snacks. He looked at the man standing at the door and widened his eyes.....their eyes met. The stare wasn't too long nor too short. The man smirked while Shi just prayed nothing would happen to him...or his master. "Shi, bring extra clothes and food for our guest. He just woke up!" Said Xiang to Shi. He picked up his tea and began to sip from it. Sho came back after a few minutes and handed the clothes to the man. The extra food and tea he had with him, was put at the table Xia'er was sitting at. The man went inside to change clothes...he came back in an instant. His bloody robe was replaced by a black and red robe. His half hair was tied up in a ponytail while the rest was loose. Of course Xia'er couldn't see it, but he felt relieved not smelling the blood scent any longer. "You've been asleep in two days, I'm sure you're hungry and needs energy" said Xia'er while feeling the guzheng in his hands. The whether today was beautiful. Even if it was still a little bit cold, it didn't bother him. The trees had began to bloom while the sky was blue. The man walked closer...closer until he found a sit across the man. He stood in front of him and stared st him with widen eyes. The figure in his eyes was the figure he had wanted to protect, love and care for all of his life. Right now he was sitting in front if him with a smile on his red lips, while sipping his tea. He observed him from the top to the bottom. He was healthy...beautiful and caring as always. He sat down with his eyes still on the figure across him. "What's your name? I couldn't ask since you were asleep" asked Xia'er when putting his tea at the table. It was the first time he found someone collapsed in his courtyard in the middle of the night. In his previous one, there wasn't any. Maybe it's the cause of his rebirth, a lot of things has already changed. He felt around the table for the little snacks Shi had brought, and found them. "You need energy and you're body to heal completely, eat" said Xia'er. He sensed the man staring at him too much without eating. He heard some crunching and sipping, his lips turned into a little smile knowing the man had started eating. "WangCheng..." said the man suddenly "sorry?" asked Xia'er. He didn't catch what he just said. "WangChen....my name" said the man named Wang Chen. "Well WangCheng, how did you end up in my courtyard last night?" Xiang didn't want to take the long way to come to his point, so he just asked, and there's no way it would be a coincident. It was silent after that, WangCheng seemed like hesitating, more like thinking through what to say. "Just trouble" said WangChen. He didn't want to tell the whole story, and he didn't think it would make it better or worse. In short it wouldn't make a difference. THREE DAYS AGO WangChen pov I was just taking a long stroll after a long day, when I suddenly got assassinated. Those old bastards never gives up getting my head. I must admit their new toys are far better than the last ones who are 5 feet underground now. Hehehe, I must congratulate them later. I did maybe underestimate them, because now I'm heavily injured. I have to get away,...right now. I will talk with Shi later to get them a present. Right now my wounds needs to heal. I began to look around for a place to rest. After searching for a while, I found this big peach blossom tree in a random courtyard. I couldn't care less but I needed to rest my body. Anyway it would heal less in two days, but I don't want to bark with the owner of this residence. I should leave early tomorrow if I have energy to at least move. Hehehe, If Shi saw me in this state he would laugh his ass of! A/N: Back to the present:)) "Master!" Shi came running to them as his voice got a bit louder. "Shi, what's wrong?" asked Xia'er after hearing him shouting. Xia'er smiled warmly and gentle at him. He could hear him panting and craving for ear in his lungs. "The man from the theater arrived. He's outside waiting right now. He said he was here for just a tour in the courtyard, but he has this huge sedan decorated and gifts inside" After hearing what Shi said, Xiang's smile vanished, his lips tightened from the rage he had inside. He tried to refrain himself from killing the man outside now. "Master..." Shi knew this expression. His master was trying to refrain from releasing his aura full of killing intent. Shi looked at WangChen for a second, WangChen looked at Shi and nodded slightly. .... "Nothing! Go get yourself breakfast, there's moon cakes mother made for all of us, before going to the temple" His gentle and warm smile was back and chuckled a little bit sensing Shi running to the kitchen, anyone would, his mother was the best cook. After Shi was gone, Xiang turned his focus to the man across him, "WangChen, would you mind accompanying me...I don't remember the directions clearly" asked Xiang. It's true though, he may have memorised some place of the residence, but not the whole thing. One day he tried to walk by himself without assistance and came back with bruises and cuts from tripling and falling. After that his mother forbid him from walking around by himself, except from his chamber. "...Of course!" answered WangChen. Deep down he wanted to see the bastard who wanted to use his hubby. WangChen got up and assisted Xia'er to the entrance. _______________________________________ In front the entrance stood a tall, lean man in blue/white robes as he realised a powerful aura. His gaze held confidence at the figure walking towards him. Xia'er felt the same sickening aura as he neared. He clenched his hidden fists within the white robe he was wearing, he tried to controll his expression as he could and gave a light smile. "Good morning, you came quit early" started Xiang, but what was the gifts for. They had only met once and he had already began with gifts. This is the same method he used before, the naive hin fell for it, but not this one. Xia'er held himself from killing the man in front of him. "Yes, the best way to enjoy them are in the morning after all" His plan was working and making progress, now all he needed was an excuse to come visit him more. "True...true! Come in, I call for someone to escort you--" Before he was finished he was interrupted from the same sickening and irritating voice. "You shall be my escort." his voice was forceful, as if it wasn't a request but a fact. Xiang was filled with anger, of course he couldn't show it on the outside. Instead he replaced it with a soft chuckle, and complied. "Right this way, then" 'If you weren't the crown prince, you would be five feet underground by now. If you want to play, then let's play...Hehe this shall be fun!' Xiang gritted his teeth in annoyance, if he showed any intentions of playing with him, then don't blame him for being ruthless. ________________________ Even though Feng Liang came for the peach blossom, he didn't even glance at any of them. His focus was on the man walking in front of him, he didn't bother to to hide it since Xiang was blind. But even though he was blind, his senses were very sharp, all the way from the start he felt the intense stare of greed on him. "That's all there is to the peach blossoms" Xiang wanted to leave as soon as possible, he didn't want to spend another minute with this man. "Li Fang, thank you for showing him around. After watching them closely I want to raise my own, but I don't have any knowlegde of it, come over to my place sometimes, and teach me" He had brought many gifts for him, but he declined them. He didn't have any more ideas of getting closer to him when he got turned down. 'I don't even remember you looking a them for a second, you bastard' The corner of his mouth was twitching before he could answer, "I also don't have any knowledge of it. My mother and the servants takes care of them" Xiang didn't want anything to do with Feng Liang. Last time he fell into the trap like the chess piece he was, but this time it will be the opposite. _______________ For the past minutes or hours, Xiang have tried to get rid of Feng LIang, but luck wasn't on his side. No matter what he did Feng Liang tried to win him over. As Xiang couldn't take it anymore, he spoke more bluntly, "Sir Fang, I have matters to attend to" What could he do. The shameless man before him wouldn't budge, so didn't care about his manners anymore. He was just a few centimetres from splitting Feng Liang's head into two. "How dare you talk to the crown pr---" started the servant beside him to rudely appoint. He started to run his mouth, scolding Xiang with a rude and harsh tone, well that was until Feng Liang kicked hi away, very hard. "Shut your mouth, you shameless servant" 'That's what I want to tell you, you bastard ' thought Xiang. He glared at the servant before turning to face Xiang with a bright expression. "Xia'er, I will come back tomorrow" His tone stated that Xiang should be honoured to have him visit him. Xiang just slightly laughed, the anger inside him got worse by the second. Xia'er! How dare that bastard call him Xia'er?!? To the two delusional idiots who thought his laugh was cheerful, as if he was honoured to have them as guests. To WangChen who stood beside Xiang, was smilling. 'Seems like you have awakened!' The two idiots were gone and finally Xiang could breath the fresh air. That bastard had used a whole day, what a waste of time. It was quite late, Xiang told WangChen to go to sleep in the next room. He walked to his chamber, changed to his night robe and began to play on his guzheng. A/N: The piece he played is ☝️☝️ before he went to sleep!
