CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE AVA’S POV The floor was a bit too cold for my ass but for some reason I just remained sitting on it. Maybe it was the endless thoughts plunging my head a bit too fast for my liking. Or perhaps just the overwhelming feeling of disappointment and rage. The fantasy I’d built in my head had been snatched from me right before my eyes, shattered into unsalvageable pieces. In just one day, my life as I knew it, seemed to have vanished in thin air. Suddenly wolves are a real thing and I’m in a town full of them. Would they even let me leave the town safely with my son?
