CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
Elaine went into the room to drop her purse which had been lying around on the couch but unfortunately, Carlos didn't close the bathroom door and she chanced upon him. Her eyes gawked at his naked body and she followed the water down his body with her eyes. Carlos turned around then and their eyes met, Elaine knew she should look away but she couldn't get her brain to send the signal.
It was a single lantern that lit up the room and so only a little beam of it entered the bathroom, which means that part of Carlos body was hidden in the darkness but she was still able to make out his body in the shadows.
