The sudden rain didn't help me as I quickly rushed inside the house.

I have to lean against the door to balance myself even though my heart was still pounding.

Any other day I would enjoy the rain. I would love hearing how it falls and wash onto the streets and hit the windows.

My hands shakingly touch my cheeks as if I were trying to make sure Dr. Jin's touch was still there.

It was as if I was scared of the rain washing his touch away.

"Lavana." I hear Jimin from the living room.

"J-Jimin," I try to appear as calm as I can.

"When did you get home?"

He sets his glass down before standing up.

"I got home a little after 4."

"I see." I slowly nod.

"Where have you been?" He suddenly asks.

His deep tone with that strict stare makes my insides shiver.

"I-I went to Jungkook and Taehyung's shop."

He briefly raises a brow.

"Really? Where is everything?"

"I-I decided against buying anything. There didn't seem to be anything we needed."

He slowly nods.

"I see. Because there's something quite amusing."

I hesitantly step back a bit when he stands and steps closer to me.

"I stopped by the shop before coming home."

My shivers were a combination of how cold I feel and my anxiety.

"Jungkook and Taehyung told me Dr. Jin was there...and that you two left together."

My breathing stops when he leans down to my height to look me in the eye.

My heart races with fear.

"So, I'm going to ask you one more time, Lavana." His voice is laced with pure venom.

"Where have you been?"

Pain.

I feel nothing but pain as I slowly wake up.

Even though there's warmth surrounding me I still feel anxious.

My blurry vision slowly clears and the first thing I see is water.

"Are you awake now?"

Forcing myself to not tense up as my body can't the sudden movement.

"Wh-What did you do?" My voice cracks as I look over the various bruising on my arms and further down.

"I'm starting to think you enjoy getting punished, Lavana." He calmly states while looking as if he did nothing wrong.

I could barely breathe in properly as I sink in how much he hurt me.

It almost even hurt to breathe.

"If you didn't defy me, I wouldn't have had to hurt you...Then again, you were probably going to lie to my face about where you were, weren't you?"

"I'm talking to you Lavana." He mutters as my gaze is frozen on my abused body.

"How?"

"How what?"

"You asked me to prove my love for you by marrying you...and yet you do this to me." My eyes water as I look at him.

He shows no type of reaction.

I see no remorse or care in his eyes whatsoever.

He bitterly chuckles and smirks.

"What are you saying?"

"Are you saying you want to leave me?" He asks in a mocking tone.

"Are you saying you think I won't consider it?" I complain.

"Jimin, you beat me until I was unconscious."

His mockery slowly turns back into fury.

I weakly yelp when he suddenly wraps his hands around my neck.

"J-Jimin-" I weakly claw at his hands.

"You want to leave?" He asks.

Only letting out helpless gasps, all of my panic takes over when he forces my head under the water.

Crying and hitting his arms, he roughly pulls me back up to face him.

"Still want to leave?" He sounds so emotionless.

"Because there's only one way I'll let you leave me...and that's through death."

My harsh coughs and whimpers don't faze him at all.

"What was that?" He turns his ear to me.

"I'll stay." I cry.
