I still wake up with pain and barely want to move.

I only feel relief that Jimin is gone.

Flinching at the sudden banging at the door, I force myself to get up.

"H-Hoseok?" My confusion shows as he looks worried.

His sudden strong hug makes me cry in pain before he quickly lets go.

He looks at my body before looking back to me.

"What did he do to you?" He asks as if he could see through my clothing.

"H-Hoseok, why are you here?"

"Mr. Min told me Jimin called and said you weren't feeling well and...I just had a really bad feeling."

I wasn't in the proper mindset to even force a smile or pretend nothing happened.

"I-I'll be fine, I-I fell down the stairs."

His eyebrows furrowed as he looked at the stairs.

"Why don't I take you to see that doctor-"

"No!" I respond louder than I intended.

"Lavana-"

"I-I'm sorry, I really would prefer to stay home and rest."

I try to ignore the worry and confusion in his eyes.

"Lavana, I know you're not okay." He mutters.

"Tell me what happened."

All of my bottled up fear, sadness, and anger slowly come out of me.

"I'm fine." My voice cracks as my vision blurs.

Hoseok looks at me with pity and sadness before gently pulling me into a hug.

The sudden soft touch makes me break down into sobs.

I try to remember the last time Jimin touched me so gently without needing to apologize for hurting me...

But none came to mind.

"I'm scared!" I cry.

He hugs me tighter without trying to add more pain to my bruises.

"I'm so scared, Hoseok!"

"I'm going to get you out of this house, okay?" He softly whispers with determination.

"I'm going to keep you safe if it's the last thing I do."

"Sh-Should I really be here?" I hesitantly ask as he carried my bags inside of his home.

"Jimin doesn't know where I live. You should be safe here." He tells me after shutting the door.

"I'm going to go see Dr. Jin." I tense up at hearing his name.

"Wh-Why?"

"I'm going to ask him to come here to check on you. I don't want to risk us going to his office if Jimin shows up. If he's not at his office then I'll stop by his home."

"Just rest until I come back. Hopefully, he's willing to come with me."

I nervously nod before going into the guest room and laying down.

I notice how a bit of my fear slowly drifts away.

"When was the last time I've felt like this?"
