CHAPTER 36 Clara's POV The door clicks shut after his words, leaving me in the empty room with nothing but my thoughts. “Believe me, the feeling is mutual.” The words linger at the back of my mind like a voice unwilling to leave. I kept trying to tell myself I didn't care, but that was a lie. I stood there, still feeling extremely drunk. I swayed slightly, my eyes lingering on the now-empty spot Spencer stood in.
