CHAPTER 42 Clara’s POV The ride back to the penthouse felt strangely calm, too calm if you ask me. The nanny sat quietly beside the window, arms folded tightly around herself, as if she was trying to stay concealed. Spencer was on his phone most of the drive, already making arrangements, talking to lawyers and assistants. Everything was moving fast, exactly the way we wanted.
