I am sitting in my room all ready for the engagement and there is a different kind of happiness and nervousness inside of being with him.
My every cousin is teasing me with his name from morning.
After some moments I was called down for the ceremony and everything went well when in between I noticed him and bhai(brother) talking with each other hope so they both don't end up hating each other more if not less now.
Later in the evening when everything was over and most of the guest went back my cousins and friends attacked my room in search of gossips I sighed tiredly. I wanted to sleep goddd.........
We all sat there talking all the nonsense in the world that didn't matter when suddenly one of them said "Wait let's play truth and dare"
"No no no...." I replied Beacuse I knew the dares were gonna be worse than anything else.
Nehal "oooo come Aku don't be a bore"
Akriti "I am not bore but this game is worst of all"
Nehal "Right that's why we are playing it"
Akriti "You are my best friend how can you do this with me" I replied whining
Nehal "Come on don't be a bore"
I sighed defeated Beacuse they are gonna make me play no matter what
"Fine" I replied
And god they all cheered so loudly making me almost deaf. I wondered are they really humans or I am stuck between animals or what.
We all sat in circle ready to play we were five in Total including me.When one of them placed bottle in between and we were ready to spin and the gane started
The bottle pointed at Kirti one of my cousin
Nishtha(other cousin) : So truth or dare
Kirti : Truth
Nistha: What's a secret you never told anyone and no cheating
Kirti : Ok so it's gonna stay between us no one should know it promise
Ok this made me interested in game I sipped my juice which we brought before the game started
Kirti : I am not a virgin
And this made me choke one my juice and everyone was same shocked as me. f**k people are being advanced these days.
Nishtha: Woo... this was something
Ok let's resume
The bottle was spinned again and it now pointed to Nehal
Simran: Nehal truth or dare
Nehal: Dare
Simran : Quite confident huh.. Ok so what should we give you .....
Akriti : Send a romantic text to the last person you texted.
Nehal : Oo it's simple
[ text: you are the only person who have been in my mind 24/7 wish I was a boy would have married you right way when I first saw you ]
Akriti : What did you texted and to whom maam?
I asked when my phone binged with a text from nehal
"Seriously bro this is cheating ...."
Nehal: How, you were the last person I texted not my fault .
She said and we all laughed together
Now the bottle spinned again and it pointed to me
Shit now they are gonna so something worst, someone save me please.
Nehal: Now the fun begins so Akriti your dare is...
Akriti: Hey.. wait wait wait I didn't choose
Nehal : We choosed for you and its dare so now your dare is You have to call Rudransh and ask him why did selected you out of all those girls who were dying to be with him.
Akriti: Guys I am not doing and I don't even have his no .
Nehal : Oo you do my love remember Digvijay texted you his number yesterday only.
Akriti : Please don't do this with me
No you have to do it, all of them said in synchronization I knew it was their plan to annoy me and it is working.
Akriti: He won't pick up guys look at the time it's almost midnight let's end it here comeon getup lets sleep
I tried to dismiss my dare but seems like nothing works I looked at their faces and it looked that they won't let me sleep without call so
I took a deep breath and called his number praying that he won't pick up but to my luck he did after a few rings
"Hello" he said and I didn't knew what to say
"Hello" he said again and I looked at them
"Why did you call when you don't want to speak" he said angrily, OK now I passed him when they signaled me to speak
"Hello" I said in a slow voice
"Akriti" came his reply
He recognized me with just a Hello
Kirti :dekho jija ki ek aawaj me pechchan liya jijosa ne to"
(Look he recognized her with her single voice)
I looked at her sharply she cannot keep her mouth shut i***t when he asked
"How did you get my number"
"Vo aaj Digvijay banna ne de diye" I replied trying to gather the courage to actually ask the question
(Digvijay gave it to me)
"Ok, why did you called me?" He asked
Straight to the point I thought
"Vo......Aapse na kuch puchna tha" I said hesitating to ask him
(I want to ask you something)
"Ha bolo" (Yes speak)
Closing my eyes I uttered those words "Why me"
"What" he asked confuesd
"Why did you choose me, there are several much more beautiful girls waiting for you then why me" I questioned wanting to know
And the reply came without a pause making my heart stop beating at what he said
"Beacuse the possibility of you is better than reality of being with someone else"
"Ok" I replied before hanging the call not knowing what else to say his reply left me completely speechless and flustered.
I looked up to see all of them looking at me with teasing smiles now they will tease to no end
Akriti: Ok now it's late go to sleep everyone and I threw them out of the room and they left without tantrums but I knew them better there would be something waiting for me in the morning.
I locked the door and laid on the bed still thinking about his reply blushing and smiling like an i***t maybe he is the right decision.
Smiling I went to bed thinking of him.
