Vincent pov.

I was about to ask her to shift when I suddenly remembered that three of my men were still standing there wide eyed. "Kane turn around so I can her to shift and for goddess sake close your damn mouth" I snapped at him out loud since he ignored my first attempt through mind link. Kane blinked a few times before answering me with a nod, turning around telling the other 2 men to do the same. I slowly approach her, shifting back to help her feel more comfortable. "Shift back to your human form" I asked her calmly but her response shocked me because all I got was a whine and a huff, this tells me she is still a young wolf. "Please shift, I want to talk to you" I offered a genuine smile hoping to help her relax. With another huff she finally waltz over to a tree, I'm guessing to shift back when I hear the same scream from earlier. "What the hells happening?!" I don't think, I just run to her.

Annabelles pov.

The wolf in front of me starting approaching me, I tensed up and him noticing this shifted back to his human form and I will tell you now he is just as handsome as his wolf. He was tall, very tall maybe 6ft 6 and he had the most calming eyes, nothing like his wolf's eyes. They were a forest green with a slightly darker green outline, a strong jaw line barely visible through a little bit of stubble covering it. "Shift back to your human form" he sounded very calm which was nice but this is the first time I've ever shift, I wanted to stay in my wolf form a little longer so I don't what any mature adult would do... I whined and huffed at him making myself clear. I wouldn't have thought about going against what he says if I was in my human form but in my wolf form I have this whole new level of confidence. Looking over at him I can see he is very shocked with my reply, if it was a different situation I would have laughed but I don't think I should risk that. Then he asked me again with what was the most amazing smile I have ever seen, it looked so genuine, it feels like I can be relaxed around him but I won't risk that yet. I huff in frustration but decide I better go shift, I begin walking when I realise how funny my paws feel against the grass so I decide to throw a little hop in my step. I find a tree that looks big enough to cover me when I shift, I stand there relaxed picturing myself in my human form and then I feel the shift happening. Forgetting how painful it was I try holding in the screams but as more of my bones snap back into place I can't hold in the scream that escapes my lips. I know I've nearly shifted back into my human form but the pain feels like it's never ending. I've finally shifted back and it feels like I can breath again but then I look up and see the man staring at me wide eyed. That's when I realise... I'm full blown naked. I try cover as much as my body as I can with my arms but I know he sees my scars when he released a very deep growl and his eyes have turned to a deadly dark colour. He must think I look disgusting, why didn't I think this through. He's going to think I'm so ugly and reject me 100% now. I left out a small whimper at the thought, he's going to reject me isn't he. "Here take this, you must be freezing" the man passes me a very large hoodie but he doesn't look at me, in fact he's trying his best not to even glance in my direction. I take the hoodie from him and quickly put it on. Only then does he decide to look at me which confirms my original thoughts earlier that he is disgusted by my body. "What is your name" I'm snapped out of my thoughts hearing his voice. "I..it's A..Annabelle Alpha" I bow my head answering him as I don't care to see the look of disgust in his eyes. "Why were you just screaming like that" oh god how do I answer that, I seemingly take a look at his face but don't make direct eye contact. He raises his eyebrows waiting for an answer "well....." pushing for a response I look back down "it's t...the first ti...time I have s..shifted Sir" stupid stuttering! He must think I'm an absolute i***t by now, the smirk on his face just once again confirms my thoughts. 

Vincent's pov.

She is the cutest little thing, especially when she stutters. I can't control the smile that comes to my face, she's just so darn adorable! Although I nearly lost my control earlier when I saw the scars on her body, i had to look away. I dont want her to see me angry, i want to give her a cuddle where she'll be safe in my arms but im scared she'll resist and run away. How the hell did they get there, I'll kill anyone who has ever laid a hand on here. I won't ask her how she got them yet but it won't be forgotten. "You've never shifted before? But how is that possible? How old are you?" I'm completely shocked, every wolf shifts for the first time at the age of 16. "I'm 17 b..but I'll be 18 next w..week Alpha" why does she keep calling me Alpha, I hate. "Please call me Vincent, if you're 17 do you know who I am?" Wolf's don't meet their mates till they are 18 so she probably has no clue who I am to her. The thought of that hurts deeply, what if she doesn't want me. "Y...you are Alpha of th...The Blue M..Moon pack" my heart just dropped, she doesn't kno... "and m..my m..m..mate" Oh my god she knows!!!! I can't contain the smile, I don't even care how she possible knows already but she does!! I don't hold back any longer I wrap my arms around her pulling her in to a giant hug, well I was going to till she said 4  words that broke my heart "P.. please don't h..hurt me" she looked up at me with fear and I realised something, there's no spark in her eyes. It's like life has drained it out of her. I pick her up bridal style, wrap her arms around my neck so her head is resting on my chest "never in my life time will I hurt you princess, time to take you home"
