♣Elena♣
The air between us was electric. Like a storm ready to break loose. Silas was so close his icy breath nearly brushing my skin, his gaze burning into mine like I was both his torment and his temptation. Our lips were a heartbeat away from colliding.
My heart thudded against my ribs, every nerve in my body tuned to his.
Please kiss me, kiss me…!
And then, like the jerk he is…He pulled away.
Just like that.
He pulled away his face cold, calculated, and detached. Like the moment we had, didn't mean anything.
I blinked at him, trying to slow my pulse, trying to brush away the sting of rejection. But Damn! It did hurt.
"Why did you pull away?"
He didn’t answer immediately. He stood up, walking toward the fireplace with long, graceful strides.
Silas Noir Cruor, a name that sounded like a spell and a curse. He paused, back to me.
When he finally turned around, his face was unreadable, the type of face that was carved from ice. "Because kissing you would be a waste of time."
I flinched. The f**k did he thought he was? A god?A damn president?
He didn't stop there. Of course he didn’t. He was the type of the person to insult you to oblivion, there was nothing stopping him from shaming a person. I had only spent three days in this mansion, and he was already messing with my mind.
"You're a distraction, Elena. A loud, reckless distraction. And I don't indulge in things that offer nothing but chaos."
Wow.
That one hit like a slap.
I stood up, my pride bruised. My voice trembled, I wanted to cry, scream but I tried to keep it together. "Right. Thanks for the honesty, I guess."
He said nothing, and that silence was even worse.
I stormed upstairs, my cheeks burning. Who the hell did he think he was? One minute he's looking at me like I'm his last meal and the next he’s acting like I’m a cockroach that interrupted his meditation.
Screw him.
Fuck him!
Ten minutes later, I was dialing Lexi.
"Girl, what now? You sound like you just murdered someone."
"I need to go out," I said. "Like right now. Preferably somewhere with loud music, questionable lighting, and drinks strong enough to erase tonight."
"Ooh. Landlord drama?"
"Yes. Landlord drama. And my pride needs CPR." I was fuming. Like how can such a gorgeous, sexy person be brutal and blunt like that? I had no idea. Tonight I'm going to drink my sorrows.
Fuck Silas,f**k his gorgeous attractive self! He can go to hell for all I care.
Lexi showed up thirty minutes later in a leather mini skirt and boots that could kill a man.
"You look like vengeance," I told her.
"That’s the goal. Let’s get wasted. But first, let me choose a perfect outfit for you".
---
The club was packed with people. The music vibrated through my bones, and the bass thumped like a second heartbeat. Colored lights painted the room in neon chaos. People grinding on each other, making out in the open.
We danced. We drank. We laughed. For once I didn't think about Adrian. I let the music drown out the sting of Silas’s rejection. Every sip of vodka made the edges of my night blur, and every beat pushed him a little further out of my mind.
I didn’t realize it was 11 PM until Lexi squinted at her phone.
"Uh, El, didn’t you say your landlord has a bedtime rule or something?"
"Oh crap."
My stomach dropped. The rule. Be home by 9 PM. I was two hours late.
God! He was already grumpy as it was, and me breaking his rule didn't make anything better.
I fumbled for my phone. Five missed calls. All from the house line.
"I gotta go," I told Lexi.
"You want me to come with you?I can send you home, you know?"
"No. He’ll probably just give me another icy monologue and vanish into the shadows."
I hugged her quickly and ran out, my heels clicking on the pavement.
In just a few minutes I arrived at the mansion. The mansion looked eerie in the moonlight. Too quiet. Too still.
I opened the door slowly, wincing at the creak. I wish, I could just vanish to my room without him seeing me,but I'm just me… a clumsy girl.
"Silas?" I called out, stepping inside. "I’m home. Late. But alive."
No answer.The lights were off.
Great! He might be sleeping, safe to say I'm safe at the moment.
I took another step, and then I saw him.
Sitting in the dark.
In the armchair by the fireplace, like some Victorian ghost waiting to haunt me.
"Oh crap," I whispered.
His eyes gleamed.
"You were told to be home by nine," he said. His voice is low, and sharp.
I tried to play it cool. "It was just a night out—"
"Eleven fifteen."
I swallowed. "Okay, yeah, but nothing happened. I just lost track of time."
He stood. Slowly. Like a predator seizing his prey.
"My house. My rules. I don't need some random girl who can't do anything right, to tell me what to do!"
His voice echoed through the room. I actually flinched.
"Do not make me repeat myself again, Elena. This is your last warning, take it seriously!”
And just like that, he vanished into his wing, slamming the door behind him.
Well, damn.
I crawled into bed that night, my cheeks flushed and head spinning. Stupid Silas with his stupid cheekbones and stupid rules. Who did he think he was?
But as I drifted to sleep, my thoughts betrayed me.I dreamed of Silas.
Not the cold angry Silas, but the hungry Sexy Silas.
His hands were on me. His mouth trailing fire along my neck. His voice, low and sinful, whispering things that made my toes curl. My body writhed beneath his in the dream, consumed by his touch.
Silas, a man of commanding presence, towered over me, his eyes ablaze with lust. His chiseled features were accentuated by the dim light, his lips curling into a smirk as he murmured, "You've been a naughty girl, Elena." His voice was a deep rumble, sending shivers down my spine.
His fingers traced the curve of my jaw, his touch electric, sending sparks through my body. I gasped as he gripped my chin, forcing me to look into his eyes. "You've been dreaming of me, haven't you?" he asked, his voice dripping with dominance. I nodded, unable to speak, my heart pounding in my chest.
He released my chin, his hands trailing down my body, leaving a trail of fire in their wake. He cupped my breasts, his thumbs brushing against my hardened n*****s, eliciting a moan from my lips. "Such a sinful sight, Elena," he growled, his fingers pinching my n*****s, sending a jolt of pleasure-pain through my body.
He moved lower, his fingers dancing along my stomach, teasing the edge of my panties. I squirmed beneath him, my body aching for his touch. He chuckled, a low, throaty sound that made my core clench. "Patience, love," he whispered, his breath hot against my skin.
He gripped my panties, pulling them down my legs, his eyes never leaving mine. He tossed them aside, his gaze raking over my naked body. "f**k, you're beautiful," he murmured, his voice filled with awe.
He positioned himself between my legs, his fingers tracing the length of my slit. I gasped as he slid a finger inside me, my body arching off the bed. "So wet for me, Elena," he said, his voice filled with satisfaction. He added another finger, pumping them in and out of me, his thumb circling my c**t.
I moaned, my body writhing beneath him, my pleasure building to a crescendo. "That's it, love," he murmured, his voice a low, seductive purr. "Come for me."
And I did, my body shuddering as wave after wave of pleasure crashed over me. He withdrew his fingers, his eyes locked onto mine as he licked them clean, a wicked grin spreading across his face. "Delicious," he murmured, his voice filled with satisfaction.
I moaned in my sleep, lost in a haze of desire.

I groaned, stretching,my body aching in all the right ways from that dream. God, what a dream. This is so embarrassing!
But something felt... off.
I opened my eyes.
Silas was sitting beside my bed.
I shrieked. "What the hell?!"
He looked amused. Amused and smug.
"Good morning to you too."
I yanked the blanket up to my chin. "Why are you in my room? What the f**k do you think you're doing?"
He tilted his head, his lips curling into something too close to a smirk. "It must have been a good dream for you to get wet like that."
I choked. "W-what?! Who told you im wet?”
He leaned back casually. "You reek of it."
My entire face turned crimson. I buried myself under the blanket.
"You're insane! And rude! And—"
"And you didn’t deny it," he said.
I peeked at him from under the covers. "You can smell that?"
"I can smell everything," he said. "You humans forget how loud your bodies can be."
"Get out," I said, mortified.
He didn’t move.
"Silas. I swear, if you don’t leave, I will throw something."
He finally stood, eyes gleaming with wicked amusement.
"I’ll let you recover from your... vivid imagination."
And then he was gone, like a shadow melting into daylight.
I groaned and covered my face.
Just great.
Now I had to survive breakfast with the guy who caught me mid-fantasy.
This mansion was going to be the death of me. Or the very reason I started making very bad, very sexy decisions.
Either way... I was doomed.
