Viktor stood tall, his massive frame towering over the new recruits as they practiced their sword drills. His superhuman strength was evident in the way he wielded a massive greatsword with ease, demonstrating techniques with precision and power. "Remember, timing is everything," Viktor bellowed, his voice echoing across the training grounds. "You need to anticipate your opponent's movements and strike when they're vulnerable." The recruits nodded, their faces set with determination as they practiced their drills. Viktor watched them with a critical eye, offering words of encouragement and correction where needed. Just then, a familiar face appeared at the edge of the training grounds. Lila, a trooper who had been a recruit in Viktor's unit, smiled as she approached him. "Viktor! It's been a while. How's life as an instructor treating you?" Viktor's face broke into a wide grin as he clapped Lila on the back. "It's been good, Lila. I get to shape the next generation of troopers. Although, sometimes I think they're more interested in playing pranks on me than actually learning." Lila chuckled. "I'm sure you're a great instructor, Viktor. I'm actually here on a break from patrol duty. I heard you were teaching sword drills and thought I'd come to say hello." Viktor nodded, his expression turning serious. "It's good to see you, Lila. How's the patrol duty going? Any issues?" Lila shook her head. "It's been quiet so far. Although, I did hear rumors of some strange occurrences in the outer districts. Nothing's been confirmed, but it's got me a bit on edge." Viktor's eyes narrowed. "I'll keep an ear out for any information. If there's anything I can do to help, let me know." As they talked, Viktor couldn't help but notice the respect and admiration Lila had for him. He had been a bit of a mentor to her during her recruitment days, and it seemed she still looked up to him. The two of them chatted for a while longer, reminiscing about old times and discussing the latest news from the front. As Lila prepared to leave, Viktor nodded. "Take care, Lila. Stay safe out there." Lila smiled. "You too, Viktor. Keep those recruits in line." With a final nod, Lila departed, leaving Viktor to continue his training session. He watched her go, a sense of pride and responsibility washing over him. He was proud to be an instructor, shaping the next generation of troopers and helping to keep the city safe. As the training session came to a close, Viktor couldn't help but reflect on his own journey. From being a recruit to becoming a cadet sergeant and provisional trooper, he had come a long way. His superhuman strength had always set him apart, but it was his dedication and passion for teaching that had earned him a place as an instructor. Viktor's thoughts turned to his fellow recruits from back then. Enzo, with his genius-level creating miracle powess , and the others who had become integral parts of the troopers. He wondered what they were up to now, and whether they ever thought about the good old days. As he walked back to his quarters, Viktor's mind wandered to the rumors Lila had mentioned earlier. Strange occurrences in the outer districts? He didn't like the sound of that. He made a mental note to keep an ear out for any information and to mention it to his superiors if necessary. Upon arriving at his quarters, Viktor changed out of his training gear and took a moment to relax. He sat down on his bunk, running a hand through his short hair. Being an instructor was rewarding, but it was also challenging. He had to balance his own duties with the responsibility of shaping the next generation of troopers. Just as he was about to doze off, his comms device beeped. It was a message from the training command center. "Cadet Sergeant Viktor, we have a new batch of recruits arriving tomorrow. Please report for duty at 0600 hours to begin their training." Viktor groaned inwardly, but a small smile played on his lips. Another group of eager faces, ready to be molded into capable troopers. He was ready for the challenge. With a newfound sense of purpose, Viktor stood up, stretching his massive frame. He would be ready for those recruits, and he would do everything in his power to help them become the best troopers they could be. Tomorrow would bring new challenges, but Viktor was ready. He lay down on his bunk, his eyes closing as he drifted off to sleep, visions of sword drills and determined recruits dancing in his mind.
