I slowly nod.
"Jennie?"
"Yes?"
"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks with confidence.
I feel my world stop. This is what I want, yeah? It's the thing he could never give me, and now he wants to do it. My stomach filled with butterflies, I give him a small smile and he sighs in relief.
"Yes." I finally say. And he almost jumps from his seat.
"Really?"
"Yup."
"Yessss I'm so glad..." He smiles. "I mean.. Cool." He corrects and I laugh at his ego.
I hide my excitement, with success. I think.
"So, girlfriend, we should arrange a first date." It comes to my mind that we never actually went on a date.

"How about tomorrow?" He offers.
