Chapter 6 - Lucian

Lucian already had a hard enough time getting the girl he had just met out of hes head.

Now with the events that had followed with the emergancy meeting he had just attended he never realised that Elizibeth was the reborn lou.

Lucian knew when the council had linked with him they knew what he knew saw what he saw today and knew that the Duty to investigate her now fell on him because of the link they had unknowingly created.

Lucian had a theory but proving the theory was going to be difficult and he would need to have a good strategy in place to see this through.

Lucian checked his phone to see if Elizibeth had messaged him anymore since she had said she was going to bed but saw she was active on chatspace but had left hes message on read.

Lucian left her another message.

Hey Elizibeth, how are you? I know your asleep right now but hopefully this reaches you in the morning. but are you free today?

Lucian wondered what had changed and what was new this time lou had always come back with a variation of the same name, never before has she been called anything else. she had the same personality and this time she didn't. she was normally shy and this time she wasn't she was outgoing and confident she was different.

Lucian informed the other council members of the devopment he had already.

The council had one request that Lucian keeps them informed of any updates and how she responds and if there's anything that starts going badly hes to inform and bring her to the council without hesitation.

the morning finally came around for Lucian while he still hadn't heard anything from Elizibeth he needed to go to the council to read the ancient texts and see what he can find out and what he needs to be on the look out for.

Lucian also wondered if she could have been reborn immortal this time and if she had what would that mean for her and Charlie would she be attracted to him and will she pick a side if she is immortal but one thing Charlie knew for sure that none of these questions would be answered until she had hit her 18th birthday.

so they had days to find out what the change meant for Elizibeth and what will she become?

reading the ancient texts Lucian found out that if she was born to be a hunter she would have a distinctive birthmark that looks like a dagger or shield.

He also doing out that she could be born immortal provided she wasn't governed by god when she was born meaning her parents would need to have not had her brought into faith by christenings or baptism or for her to have found it on her own.

If all of this checked out she could be made immortal by finding her true love. if she falls in love with someone that isn't her true love she will die till she finds her true love.

Lucian sat for a moment digesting what he had just read he knew he knew he now had to tread carefully he could update the council on what he found out which would update Charlie too but only the council and Charlie knew the answer Lucian was now seeking but that wouldn't cause another meeting it would be a one by one discreet convention now.

Lucian needed to get a few hours sleep even though he was immortal but he could feel he's strength failing which meant he needed to recharge and the only way avaliable to him at this point was to sleep.
