I took a deep breath after tidying up all the chaos in my laboratory. The young scientists under my supervision in the technology lab now didn’t dare to look me in the eye.
Good. They know their place and will surely think twice before messing up, just like when I left the pack.
I had just returned from Golden Crescent and didn’t waste any time coming here, even though I was quite exhausted from lack of sleep. Rose and Lucien had kept me awake over the past few days, and I rather enjoyed spending time with them. It felt like having siblings.
